Aaron unboxes the Sprint Vital, a ZTE smartphone that brings a decent feature set to the nation’s third largest wireless carrier. Featuring a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, the Vital has a 5-inch 720p HD display, 13-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, a 2,500 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It’s a mostly stock version of Android, with some minor ZTE/Sprint tweaks here and there. It’s available now at Sprint’s website for free after mail-in rebates, making it $100 cheaper than the HTC One and $150 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S 4. It’s a solid smartphone with some decent specifications, but is it worth saving the cash up front to go with a non-branded smartphone?View video here
