From Skyworks, the creators of the ESPN Arcade and the hit iPhone/iPod
touch sports game Arcade Hoops Basketball, comes another addictively
classic game, Arcade Bowling! Designed by video game legend David
Crane, one of the original founders of Activision, and one of the most
critically acclaimed game designers of all time! David’s 32-year
career includes such games include “Pitfall!”, “Laser Blast”,
Ghostbusters”, “David Crane’s Amazing Tennis”, and “A Boy and His Blob”
to name just a few.

In the tradition of Skeeball, everyone’s favorite Boardwalk bowling
game, use your fingers and steady aim to fling “laser” balls down the
alley and up the ramp into the scoring holes. The further the scoring
hole is, the more points you’ll get! Once the laser ball flies off the
ramp, you can tilt your iPhone/iPod touch to actually influence the
ball’s flight in midair! Use the accelerometer to adjust your aim by
tilting left and right, and adjust the ball’s speed by tilting forward
and back.

Arcade Bowling features two futuristic sound tracks, state of the art
iPhone 3D graphics, and two addictive game modes, Classic and
Progressive! In Classic Mode, roll up to nine balls to score as many
points as you can. In Progressive Mode, enjoy multiple levels of game
play including increasingly challenging score plateaus and bonus
targets.
