Palm is back with a bang with its new smartphone named Palm Pre and it cannot have been better to do that at the world’s biggest consumer electronic tradeshow viz the CES, held every January in Las Vegas. Palm Pre is an archetype creation sporting an excellent 3.1 inch multi touch display with a 329 x 480 resolution as also an impressive full QWERTY Keyboard with the top being that of in-built accelerometer. Mobile phones at its best. To make the folks feel more enchanting, Palm Pre runs on the new webOS platform with support for built in 802.11b/g WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3 MP camera with an LED flash and 8GB of flash memory. Add to that, an inclusion of a wireless charger as well! The new webOS platform is laudable and the functionality of course have a calibre to beat colossal smartphones like Apple iPhone!
