Review: Proporta TurboCharger 5000 – External Emergency Charger Battery Pack
The Nokia N8 is a GO! For select markets. Nokia sent out a press release earlier today stating the N8, the new Symbian^3-powered 12-megapixel-carrying flagship smartphone, has started shipping to select markets. The USA, however, is not one of those markets. It’s hard to pinpoint when the US will be getting the N8. Nokia’s USA web store currently lists the ship date as “Early October 2010″, but an article from Information Week posted early today noted that the page actually read “End of October 2010″, and a customer rep confirmed the delay. A month ago I would’ve put the chances of the N8 being a huge hit somewhere around the same odds as winning the million dollars in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? : to me, the device just wasn’t enough to bring Android and iPhone users to Nokia’s fold. But I might be wrong, considering that Nokia has reported that the N8 received a record number of online pre-orders . It’ll be interesting to see if the N8 becomes Nokia’s next N95.
