It took a good month or so, but the E63 is now hitting Nokia Flagship stores on US soil (that’s New York and Chicago), as well as the usual bunch of retailers. There’s two things that make the E63 an interesting specimen. First is the price: at $279 USD, it’s by far one of the cheapest/most affordable Symbian S60 smartphones available on the market. Second is the fact that essentially it’s a downgrade of the E71, with a little bonus or two – namely, the 3.5 mm stereo audio jack and 30 more minutes of potential talk time. You lose the GPS and 3.2 megapixel camera, however. The E63 comes in two colors: Ruby Red and Ultramarine Blue. You also get a 1 year subscription to “Files on Ovi”, basically a 1 gigabyte online storage space, with your purchase.
