Every now and then technology world is delivering gadgets with newfangled features that make our lives more soothing. Kids aged from five to twelve enjoy playing pranks and indulging in mischievous acts, don’t they? But what about parents who most of their time are anxious regarding their kids – well with the new wrist bracelet built-in GPS, parents can now keep a close eye on their kids! This new GPS Child Locator attaches safely to a child's wrist and can locate them to within 3 metres and is very difficult to get off the wrist once connected – needn’t worry in case the bracelet is removed as it sends an emergency text to the parent's mobile with a Google Maps image displaying their accurate location and address as well! What’s more interesting is of course that parents can also send a text to the bracelet to have it automatically send back a location, or have the device alert them when the bracelet leaves a pre-designated area, AFP said. The Child Locator GPS will be made available in Britain and the US this year for $200 with a $10 monthly fee.
