Yup, we knew this one’s coming and voila… the LG Optimus L9 II is now officially announced. As a successor to the original Optimus L9, this model too keeps its mid-end specs sheet, boasting a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2,150mAh battery, IR blaster and 8GB of expandable storage (with microSD cards). Unfortunately, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (rather than 4.2 or 4.3) is running the show right from the get-go, though we expect to see updates rolling out within few weeks after the phone starts selling all around the world. Since we got the news from the Dutch website GSMpedia, we expect the Korean company to start with Europe and perhaps South Korea and steadily make the L9 II available in other parts of the globe. Heck, I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this smartphone in the days to come. Stay tuned in the meantime… The post LG Optimus L9 II with 4.7-inch 720p HD screen officially announced appeared first on IntoMobile.
