Well, what do we have here? As far as we can tell, a tablet marked as LG VK810, which has been caught at the FCC, it could easily be Verizon’s version of the LG G Pad 8.3. The dimensions are just right and so is the LTE radio which supports Verizon-friendly connectivity over bands 4 and 13. So it’s just about timing the launch. Now Verizon, I don’t see a need to tease your (wannabe) customers anymore. The LG G Pad 8.3 is one of the best tablets you can buy today. Unlike some other bigger devices, this is a more portable tablet that is also powerful enough to be used on a daily basis. It rocks Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM, 8.3-inch full HD display and a 4,600mAh battery. If I had to bet, the Big Red carrier will sell it for some $200 on a two year contract.
