Google today released a Chromecast app for iOS that shows users how to set up their new streaming dongle. The application allows owners of the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch the ability to manage settings by way of connecting the Chromecast to their WiFi network. Here’s the changelog: Set up your Chromecast to work with your Wi-Fi network Manage your Chromecast settings (such as changing your device name, Wi-Fi password, etc.) Of course, the application is free for all to grab from the App Store. Hopefully Google can get its act together when it comes to keeping the wildly popular streaming dongle in stock. Shipping times are still way too long.
