EveryBlock is an iPhone app that helps you get updates and track events happening in your city, neighborhood, and more precisely, your block. Enter any address to see nearby crimes, restaurant inspections, media coverage and more. After you launch EveryBlock on your iPhone, you can let it use your current location or enter your location manually. You will then get a simple timeline of what’s happened in that area recently, from relevant newspaper articles and blog entries to crime reports, building permits and more. Filter the list of news by category. Get a citywide overview of news by category, then click on topics to find what you’re looking for.
