A site discovered that Hewlett-Packard filed for “PalmPad” trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, presumably to be used with an upcoming webOS-powered portable device code-named “Hurricane”. A trademark application reveals the “PalmPad” name and logo you see above. PreCentral pointed to the document and noted it lists the trademark in numerous categories, including
